Monthly Draw & Chapter KOPS

All KOPS members ( 10 in this chapter) names are placed in a  draw. Each month a KOPS name is drawn from them - that KOPS member receives their dues for the month paid by the chapter. The winners name is then removed until each KOPS member has won their dues paid for the month.

RED RIBBON AWARD

 

When a member reaches their first 10 pound loss they are given a red ribbon with a gold star on it, and for every 10 pound loss after they get another gold star.

Represents the Crystal Received

 

Once a member reaches KOPS status they receive a special crystal to put on their red ribbon.

 

7 members at TOPS ON 5191 Woodstock have now received their crystals for their ribbons. WAY TO GO!

While at this chapter for an Area Captain Presentation I heard their TOPS closing creed and asked the chapter if I could have a copy. I really liked this one and I hope you may also.

 

I AM AN INTELLIGENT PERSON,

THAT IS WHY I JOINED  “TOPS.

I WILL CONTROL MY EMOTIONS

AND NOT ALLOW MYSELF TO STAY HOME

BECAUSE I FEAR I MIGHT HAVE GAINED.

EVERY TIME I AM TEMPTED TO FIND FAULT WITH MY CHAPTER, CRITIZE MY FELLOW MEMBERS,

OR THINK ABOUT QUITTING,

I WILL REMEMBER ,

MY CHAPTER CAN BE NO BETTER THAN I HELP MAKE IT ,

MY FELLOW MEMBERS NEED MY HELP AS MUCH AS I NEED THEIRS,

AND IF I SHOULD QUIT “TOPS,

I MIGHT NEVER REACH MY GOAL.

THEREFORE, I HEREBY DEDICATE MYSELF TO SUPPORT MY “TOPS” CHAPTER

THROUGH MY WEIGHT LOSS AND MY ACTION,

TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITY.

    Thank you ON 5191 Woodstock for the gift card from WalMart - I went over and bought another rose for my garden - yellow for all your KOPS! Whenever I look at it I will think of your chapter :)
