We are asking that chapters design (or purchase) a "Fall Centrepiece." Unlike past years, these centrepieces will not be judged - instead they will be given as extra doorprizes to members in attendance of the rally. Pictures and credit to the designing chapters/member will be given though.

AREA CAPTAIN AWARD

When our area became an area, we had to choose a new name for our Rally. Ellen's, from TOPS ON 5270 Stratford was chosen - TOGETHER WE CAN!

I want to know what you think we can do together with TOPS.

Please have your submissions to be no later than October 1st. You can email them, send them with your chapter to the Rally meetings, fax them to me, or mail them to me the good ole Canada Post route. If you need my address, please contact me  or ask you Leader.

Do not forget to include your name and chapter number. I am not putting any limitations on the length.

Your weight recorder fills these forms out. You will be recognized on stage for the weight you have lost from September 1, 2009 - September 1, 2010.

Inspirational Award

This award is done by secret ballot. Your Chapter will give you an envelope - you will write the peron from your chapter who you are most inspired by - and then seal the envelope. This award can be anyone from your chapter and does NOT have to be an executive.

Area Captain

This year I have started a new award. I have asked for a write up on what you think you can do together with TOPS. I thought with our Rally being named "Together We Can" I would like to find out what our area members felt they could do. More information is about this "new" award above. I look forward to reading the submission.

After much deliberation, the hostessing chapters have left off a few awards this year. Some of this was due to the feedback received after last year's rally.

• Back on Track - We received much negative feedback about this award and many members who many have been awarded it said they would not attend if they received the award. I understand many of us have back slide, but not all want to be recognized for "getting back on track."
• Families in TOPS - We received feedback that this took too long during the Rally and didn't really have a purpose for why we were there.
