This week should be used to gain a strong hold on drinking water, eating healthfully and exercising. Gaining a well-rounded lifestyle starts with emphasizing your commitment to the three actions above. Essentially what you are doing is moving slowly toward your goal of health, and moving away from a life without health. In order to do this more effectively there will be one more additional action that you should do this week - visualizing!

 

When you lay down to sleep at night, you want to spend a few minutes thinking about what your life will look like when you are healthy, happy, fit, and full of energy and excitement. You can imagine your body being in good shape, looking good, and moving through each day with pride in your stride. By visualizing each night you are planting seeds in your brain about what you look like and how you behave. By setting your mind to work while you sleep you are engaging a powerful ally in your quest for a lifetime of good health. In your waking hours your body will need to manifest what your mind is beginning to believe, but your body will take time to adjust and respond to the improvements you have been making.

    Visualizing! What a grand idea.
    I leave a pretty blouse and smaller slacks hanging in my bedroom, but they are covered over with PJ's and sweaters etc. Time to uncover them again and have a little daydream before I go to sleep. I think I will like this!

    Well the end of another week - all ready to start week 5.

    I have been trying to visualize being healthier - especially this week - as I've been feeling awful. Hopefully when I go to the doctors on Tuesday to get my test results I will have my visualizations come true.

    I have had a bad week period - out of leeway for KOPS status - but have been watching what I eat and scheduling my exercise - I even did it feeling awful. I was put on some new pills and I think that must be why the sudden weight gain but my mind doesn't like the idea. I know I have to stop beating myself up about it or the weight will never come off. Pressure of being a KOPS I guess - I do have two weeks.

    Anyway sorry for babbling on - hopefully we still have members on board with this online challenge. Week 5 is ready to be read.

    I do have my reward item chosen - a new book for me :)
