Actions:

  1. Carry a water bottle with you and drink plenty of water.
  2. Substitute a healthy food in place of your food vice.
  3. Replace sedentary TV/Computer time with exercise.

You should be feeling the physical and mental changes that accompany the first two actions. You may be just strting to exercise this week for the first time or for the first time in what seems like a long time. Either way all you should do now is foucs on going forward because there is no going back. Where you have failed before, you shouldn't be straining to succeed now. Continue to focus on the actions that you need to do today and today only, while you visualize a life full of fitness, free from sickness, and filled with vigor.

This week is devoted to busting the television/computer habit in favor of exercise. Reducing your TV habit can also keep you from being exposed to bad news, which will inevitably bring you down.

By Replacing TV with Exercise You Will:

  1. limit the bad news let into your mind;
  2. provide freshly oxygenated blood to your brain;
  3. release endorphins and enkephalins into your body

Another little clip that showed up in my inbox that I thought was perfect to give us all that little bit of inspiration in letting us know these small changes we are making through this challenge will add up. Hope you enjoy it.

    Well it is Wednesday and I just finished my "IN INK" exercise. I am one who gets bored with exercise so need to change things up all the time. That is why I have so many dvd workout.

    Today was my first time doing Jillian Michaels 30 day burn level one. Jillian Michaels for those who don't know you is the female trainer on the Biggest Loser. She can be scary..lol but she is also very encouraging through her workouts. Wow! I have finished day 2 of this weeks challenge of scheduling IN INK 3 days of exercise - no excuses. I have also done this prior to my computer work - it helps that I work out in my office in front of my laptop.

    Would love to hear how others are doing!

    loved the video, thanks!
    Need to find a good treadmill, but have discovered that one can do a remarkable amount of moving while sitting in a recliner!

    glad you enjoyed the video :)

    treadmills can be handy if you get a good one. mine was manual and couldn't be adjusted. was good to start with and learn it was not what I needed. Perhaps a stationary bike - do they still make them? It shouldn't matter if it was an older one would it? hmmm
