Actions:

  1. Carry a water bottle with you and drink plenty of water.
  2. Substitute a healthy food in place of your food vice.

If you were on a boat in the middle of an ocean and you were traveling 10 miles per hour and changed your course by 1 degree, the next week you would be miles away from where you were headed had you not changed your course. A small change can, over time, make a big change. To succeed on this plan only a few changes are really necessary to get to a healthy weight (or at least close.)

How are you doing?

Well today was the third day in a row I had breakfast....luckily someone was home each morning...tomorrow morning will be the test as I am home alone tomorrow morning...

I am a social eater..when I am alone I don't eat..can't be bothered to prepare anything....but I need to prepare myself breakfast tomorrow morning..

I think this one small change will help if I just keep it up.

Had a .8 gain this week because I ate too many tablespoons of peanut butter! I am a before bed eater. Not evenings so much as right before bed. Grrrr. I have to not buy it anymore because I can't contol myself when it's in the fridge.

Don't give up - keep on trying Melody :)

I am the same way; I can't have something in the house that I KNOW i will devour. Best for me not to have it at all.

So far so good, and I must say this past week I have slep much better, not awake every hour and a half, and then it takes anothe hour to go back to sleep. The past three nights I have slep 31/2-4 hours get up go to the bathroom and go right back to sleep, and I must say this is a much happier person in the morning. Fri. will be the test for this week again.

have been more focused on getting over this cold than this challenge. The plus side is I have been getting lots of liquids and chicken soup. All the white bread is now gone from the house and the family is complaining about it. I told them if they want it they will have to buy their own. Hauled out the bread machine and am going back to making my own whole grain bread. This way I can control the salt, sugar and there will be no additives or preservatives to mess it up.
