Christmas Card Program

NEED:

  • Large Board
  • Double Sided Velcro
  • Christmas Cards

Program is played much like game of concentration.

On the back of 20 Christmas Cards are 10 food items and the other 10 are matches of these food items with calorie counts and food exchanges.

Each member comes forward and picks one card and tried to find the match of the card.

Members get involved because they are listening to the food item or the counts of the food item and are trying to figure out what they are, but also watching where the cards are placed.

The game gives members a chance to have some fun, discuss the possible food items, congratulate each other when they make a match, etc. The member with the most matches wins a prize (mine was a book of Christmas stickers for their Christmas Cards.)

At the end, I wrap up the meeting with a game, such as a passing game and of course the prize is  box of Christmas Cards.

Program has been received very well in chapters that I have presented it to.
